Dirt Ledger is a ride tracking application that allows users to:

Share real-time location with friends and family

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account

You agree NOT to:

Use the service for any illegal purpose
Share your live location for stalking or harassment
Attempt to access other users' accounts

Upload malicious content or code
Use the service while operating a vehicle unsafely

Important Safety Warning: Dirt Ledger is a navigation and tracking aid only. Always prioritize your safety:

Do not look at your device while operating a vehicle
Follow all local traffic and trail regulations
Be aware of your surroundings at all times
Do not rely solely on GPS for navigation in remote areas
Always carry appropriate safety equipment

6. Location Sharing

When you share your live location or ride data:

Anyone with the link can view your location or route
You are responsible for who you share links with
We recommend only sharing with trusted individuals
You can stop live sharing at any time

7. Intellectual Property

The Dirt Ledger name, logo, and all related content are owned by us. Your ride data and content remain yours, but you grant us a license to store and display it as necessary to provide our services.

8. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services including:

Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage
OpenStreetMap for map data and trails
ESRI for map tiles

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Dirt Ledger is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

GPS accuracy or availability
Continuous, uninterrupted service
Accuracy of trail or route information
Compatibility with all devices

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or data loss.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
